Welcome to Native Jacks! From Arizona comes an
indie/alternative/rock/pop/country/folk band --
clearly not just one genre or style. The band writes,
records and produces its own songs, which tell stories of
social injustice, human struggles, reflection and redemption.
Native Jacks band members include Jim, Memo, and formerly Ro.
Jim plays acoustic and electric guitar. Memo plays keyboards
and bass guitar. Both share duties with vocals and backup
vocals. Guitarist Ro brought the band together, but left to
follow his heart before the band began its recording activities.
Native Jacks started playing for others in the east-Phoenix
suburbs, and has had formal performances at the Yucca Tap Room
in Tempe.
Native Jacks' latest single "Black Eye" was released
on December 2nd, 2013 and features guest guitar work by
John Scott Evans and vocals by Tara Prindiville.
Its first recorded collection, "Markin' Territory," was
released in December 2012. The collection consists of 10 tracks
written by either Jim or Memo and was recorded at The Saltmine
Studio Oasis in Mesa, Arizona.
